New Online Sales

I've been trying to work out how to distribute my work when I am on the road next year. I will be creating a photoblog - or at least adding photos to this blog. That does not get round the fundamental question of mass distribution and sales.

Normally I arrange all printing and framing myself. I like to see the process through from start to finish. This won't be easy when travelling.

As one potential solution I've arranged a pro-gallery with Photobox . You get to this gallery through http://www.photoboxgallery.com/originalrobart. Right now this is an extension of my regular gallery. As a bonus I've included a lot of images that haven't made it into my main gallery. This doesn't make them no good. I just felt that I had more to say with the images that I've used to date.

Enjoy the gallery.

Twas the Blog After Christmas

And everything stirred; I don't have a mouse (except for the one on my PC)

The earlier blog was an announcement. This is more real.

Christmas has come, gone and was an altogether great experience. Sometimes Christmas day can feel a little flat. This one didn't. Between my shared lives (I almost feel like Batman sometimes), playing with my family - lots of air hockey this year - one of my all time favourite games

Great presents given and received and towing niece and nephew on roller skates this has been great fun.

  • Key element of presents to me - things for the big trip. Are they trying to tell me something.
  • Key elements of presents for me - trying to give people cool and fun things.
  • Good feeling - just being much more relaxed than usual.
  • Worst time - watching an expended news report on the Asian Tsunami disaster.

Perhaps this blog sounds a little quiet. I think I'm holding back a little. I think the real excitement will come with the trip - also a step forward on that. Made some purchases in the sales towards getting my house ready to be rented.

I've had fun and great company this Christmas. I know feel charged up and ready to make the next year happen!

The Presence of Ads

This is a real holiday period quicky
I've just added Google Ad Sense ads to this Blog
Hope it all works out ok

Now back to the holiday period.

10 Days

Not the TV series (that's 7 Days)
It's 10 days since the last blog.

10 Days of
  • Christmas preparations
  • Financial calculating
  • Partying
  • Meeting up with Old Friends
  • Making Plans
  • Figuring out things to do
  • Artwork and website updating
  • Worrying about Backups
  • Writing in my paper (no not papyrus) journal

It's been a cool ten days
No rest yet - more Christmas preparations and then ... Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeeee - I Like Christmas a lot.
Outside there are lots of bright flashing lights (mmmmm Priddddy)

I'm sorry for the delay - and this slightly empty - if upbeat update.
A lot more meat to come in this blog very soon.
I have this feeling there is a going to be a lot to add to this blog in the not too distant

In the meantime - in case I don't get back here in time

MERRY CHRISTMAS

and a

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Best Wishes

Rob

Focus Rob Focus

Today has been the big hit. The majority of my Christmas shopping one big go. I have a rule. Never prepare for Christmas before December. Some people don't like it - the thought of all that work being jammed in quickly. For me it simply makes the holiday season more exciting, more fun and more personal.

So today was shopping

Focus is a problem. As I wander through shops looking for presents I keep stopping to play with things. Sometimes out of no more than idle curiosity. Often because I fancy things for myself. So many full shops. So many fun things.

To cut a long story short I got the presents

Normally I do walk away from present shopping with things for myself.

This year I didn't. Perhaps it was the need to downsize before the big trip. More likely it was Judi saying "So that's something else to sell before you go"

Odd being in a limbo where your next actions are decided by something that doesn't have a date yet.

Still I'm looking forward to Christmas. I've bought some fun presents to give away.

Another Quickie

I've been in contact with some relatives abroad.
They're going to cross Europe. I'm off to explore around the Pacific
Seems that the travel bug is crossing continents. No wait that's also the plan.

Another quick update. Art Epiphany is starting it's own blogs. I'm contributing with some new thoughts. To see these take a look at this site.

I'll be using both set of blogs from now on.

And now - I have some work to do and must think about some new updated to my website
