Connected Again

Just celebrating the fact that I'm back on broadband.
After the Grande Tour having a solid Internet connection again makes me feel well ... connected if you'll pardon the pun. I think after a while of wandering having a house, utilities, phone and the big extra of rock solid Internet feel as if I'm home. I suppose it's the plus side of bills. The downside of bills is of course the paying of them.

So I suppose this makes the new place really mine.

I'll stop now - this blog is wandering about a bit. Next entry - hopefully a bit more focus

Moved but not much else

I’ve not written much recently. Primarily once RobArt was up and running and once the underwater photography was posted I really didn’t want to bore with the minutiae of daily life. The big thing since my last post has been a move into my own residence. So I now once again have roots, or at least a commitment to somewhere to live. On the bonus front - my new abode is in an area I’ve always wanted to live in. So big bonus there. As I write this an Internet account is a few days away. So I’m not entirely sure how long this blog will be on file before getting published.
I hope to be getting out and about more soon, and also putting new photography online soon, plus of course pushing RobArt.
So once again it’s a case of watch this space.

Putting the Duds Online

Ok it's done. A few of you are waiting for this. As for the rest - well I said it would happen and so it has. I'm talking of course about late developed pictures taken on the Great Barrier reef and in the seas of Fiji using a disposable underwater camera. The ones that I wasn't too happy with. Well these have been placed in the Grande Tour photostream. Hopefully you will enjoy them. Personally I wish I could of captured the colour and wonder of these places better. Unfortunately I didn't do too well; though to be sure - these are the kinds of places that have to be seen to be believed - so go there!

The Terror of Duds

I have my long awaited photographs back from the developers. This is the set taken with an underwater disposable camera. All the shots were exposed in Fiji and on the Great Barrier reef. Reasonably I was hoping for something special. Unfortunately this was not so. It turns out that my ability to use a Kodak disposable underwater is err - could be better. Me - I'm blaming the sea sickness I encountered on the Barrier Reef. In the meantime I will look more closely at my shots. There are a couple of naturally good photographs - the best being of another snorkeler , so those can be posted. I'll post process a few more in Photoshop. Hopefully in a couple of days they will appear online for you to enjoy.
